PROJECT OVERVIEW
On January 21, 2022, Intel announced that it had selected the Licking County portion of the New Albany International Business Park as the location for its $20 billion investment in two state-of-the-art semiconductor manufacturing plants. In March 2024, Intel increased the investment amount to $28 billion.

ODOT CONSTRUCTION
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) have committed $90 million for transportation improvements in the area surrounding Intel’s future campus. Most of the investment will fund projects on local roadways in Delaware, Franklin and Licking counties. The projects will ensure the network of local roads has the capacity to handle the rapid growth in central Ohio.
Jug Street between Harrison Road and Clover Valley Road will be closed to traffic for six weeks to facilitate the reconstruction of the existing roadway.
