The New Albany Police Department is partnering with New Albany High School student Gwen Mouat to host a Toy Drive on Saturday, December 3 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Village Hall parking lot. Police will be collecting unwrapped toys for children of all ages and donating the collection to the Toys for Tots campaign.

Gwen was born with a condition called propionic acidemia. She is a member of the New Albany Special Olympics bowling and gymnastics teams, and is currently volunteering as a crew member for the upcoming high school musical, Mamma Mia. Gwen started a toy drive last year as her “wish” through A Special Wish Foundation because she loves helping kids.
