New Albany Founders Day has been celebrating New Albany and Plain Township history every year since 1976! The fun starts on Saturday, May 11, with a parade at 11 a.m. where the New Albany 12U Little League baseball team will serve as grand marshals followed by the popular festival, featuring rides, games, and various vendors until 5 p.m.
The road closures are along the parade route:
- RNA/605: from Chatham Green to Main Street
- Main Street: from RNA/605 to Dublin Granville Road
- Dublin Granville Road: from Main Street to Morgan Road (just past Church of Resurrection)
- *there will also be a closure at the intersection of Fodor Road/Market Street and Dublin Granville Road
Full road closures will be in effect at approximately 10:40 a.m. until approximately 1:00 p.m. (or once clean-up from the parade concludes).
