John-Irving-overhead-w-studentsOur 200-acre Learning Community Campus and the New Albany branch of the Columbus Metropolitan Library reflect the type of thoughtful, comprehensive planning that contributes to the unique quality of life that City residents enjoy and that has made New Albany one of central Ohio’s best places to live.

The learning campus is home to the New Albany-Plain Local School District’s kindergarten through 12th grade classes, a community wellness center and an 80-acre nature preserve and wetlands area.  Each year, our students, faculty, staff and education programs are recognized at the local, state and national levels.

Among the highlights:

  • Every school in our district has been designated a national Blue Ribbon School of Excellence by the U.S.Department of Education.
  • For the past five years, our district has received an “excellent” rating from Ohio Department of Education.

According to Columbus Monthly, New Albany ranks among the best of 24 suburban school districts in central Ohio.
