New Albany’s public service department recently installed new pedestrian crossings around the Market & Main roundabout. Each of the four crossing areas now has a push-button that lights up pedestrian signs to alert motorists that pedestrians are crossing the street. The buttons MUST be pushed to activate the warning lights on the yellow signs seen by motorists.
