May 13: Blood Drive at Public Service

Blood donations are going to be important as we all continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic. As elective surgeries are rescheduled, the demand for blood is going to sharply increase and we need to have blood on the shelves for the patients who need them. Along with The Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany, the City of New Albany is offering the following blood drive:

  • Wednesday, May 13 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
  • Public Service Department (7800 Bevelhymer Road)

For information about COVID-19 safety measures at the blood drive, visit www.versiti.org/home/coronavirus-information.
