New Albany Chamber Recognizes Delta Award Recipients

On December 1, the New Albany Chamber of Commerce honored local businesses and community leaders for their significant roles in driving community engagement, economic growth, and excellence. Delta Award recipients set the standard for excellence and innovation by their community involvement and business practices.

2022 Delta Award Recipients

  • Outstanding Large Business: Google Data Center
  • Outstanding Medium Business: The Estate at New Albany
  • Outstanding Small Business: Hayley Gallery
  • Outstanding Program: Fry Out Cancer
  • Outstanding Citizen: Lindsay Harris, Michael Lucey Memorial Courts
  • Outstanding Young Professional: Liesl Huenemann
  • Outstanding Student: Thomas Bohman

“The Delta Awards recognize and honor the exceptional people, organizations and industry leaders who achieve professional success and substantially contribute to our community,” noted Chamber Board Chair-elect, Liz Morrison. “These businesses and individuals strive toward the highest levels of professional accomplishment and devote time and energy to the community in a meaningful way.”

Also taking place at the annual event, the Board Chair gavel passed from 2022 Board Chair Terry Ziegler to Chair-Elect Liz Morrison. Outgoing trustees Jeff Ramm and Terry Ziegler were recognized, and incoming trustees Jessica Pfister, Director of Operations, OSU Outpatient Care New Albany, and Thor Hess, Executive Vice President, Southeastern Equipment were ratified.

2023 Chamber Board of Trustees are Liz Morrison, Meta, Chair; Abe Jacob, Kallner & Associates, Vice Chair; Erik Zuika, MGF Sourcing, Treasurer; Debbie Donahey, OhioHealth, Kurt Fulmer, FPL Financial Strategies; Kernesa Samana, American Electric Power; Jessica Pfister, OSU Outpatient Care New Albany; and Thor Hess, Southeastern Equipment. Ex officios are Jennifer Chrysler, City of New Albany; Ben Collins, Plain Township, Debra Kalinosky, NAPLS Board of Education, Cherie Nelson, New Albany Chamber, and Michael Sawyers, New Albany-Plain Local School District.
