The City of New Albany has received GOLD in the Ohio EPA’s Encouraging Environmental Excellence in Communities (E3C) award program! The E3C award recognizes a community’s exceptional achievements in environmental stewardship. Applications are evaluated using action items developed by Ohio EPA in the three pillars of sustainability (environment, economy, and social), with an emphasis on environmental stewardship. City Councilwoman Andrea Wiltrout (pictured right) and City of New Albany Planner Anna van der Zwaag (pictured center) received the award on September 18, 2023, on behalf of the city.
