At their November 21 meeting, New Albany City Council adopted two ordinances associated with the creation of a new public street to be named Briscoe Parkway in honor of former New Albany Mayor and Councilmember Colleen Briscoe. Briscoe served New Albany for 26 years before choosing not to seek reelection to City Council in 2021. Briscoe Parkway will be located in the New Albany International Business Park, connecting Horizon Court, Harrison Road, and Clover Valley Road.
