Join NAPD in Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics

You’re invited to join our New Albany Police Department officers and staff members as they host the local leg of the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Thursday, June 27! The event helps kick off the 2024 Special Olympics of Ohio Summer Games, held June 28-30 at Ohio State.

The New Albany portion of the torch run will begin around 12:30 p.m. near the New Albany Police Department located at 50 Village Hall Road. Members of the NAPD will carry the “Flame of Hope” to the high school stadium where the participating Special Olympics athletes can carry the torch around the track.

If you want to join the run or donate, click here. Scroll to “Lighting the Way” and choose the “register” or “donate” options. Select New Albany Special Olympics (for participants, we are in the Southeast region) to join or support our team.
