Independence Day Parade & Festival

Presented by the City of New Albany and the New Albany Chamber, the Independence Day Parade & Festival is a favorite annual tradition that fosters civic pride like no other.
PARADE
Parade starts at 11:00am – see Parade Route here. Thousands of residents and visitors attend the parade in the morning and the festival in the evening. Parade Awards are presented for Mayor’s Award (best community spirit) and Presidential Award (most patriotic). Click on the “Register” button to register your parade entry today!
Please note the following road closure schedule:
Rt 605 between Walton Pkwy and Main St will be closed from 9:00am-12:00pm
Dublin Granville Rd between Rt 62 and Market St will be closed from 9:00am – 11:00pm
FESTIVAL
This free family-friendly festival starts at 6pm and the fabulous Michelle Robinson band starts at 7pm! Dueling Axes Mobile Unit, bounce houses, face painters, balloon twisters, and caricature artists. Food and beverages available for purchase from food trucks.
FIREWORKS
At approximately 10:00pm, the City of New Albany presents fireworks.
