Informal Planning Commission Meeting

June 3 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The Planning Commission hears applications for land use, zoning classifications, recommends legislative actions, reviews legislation, rules, and regulations re: city planning, land use, and zoning. Informal Meetings (I) are held at Village Hall (99 W. Main Street) the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Regular meetings (R) are held at Village Hall (99 W. Main Street) the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

New Albany City Council generally meets at Village Hall the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. City council may hold special council meetings and workshops, as needed. They may cancel a meeting due to lack of agenda items. These will be posted on the city's website and on bulletin boards at Village Hall and the Public Service Complex. Juneteenth Celebration

An estimated crowd of more than 500 people came together at the Hinson Amphitheater on June 19, 2023, for New Albany’s first-ever Juneteenth celebration. The event, which was an initiative of the IDEA Implementation Panel, featured music, dance, spoken word, poetry, food trucks and more.
