The Plain Township Fire Department (PTFD) is sched

The Plain Township Fire Department (PTFD) is scheduled to conduct a controlled burn this morning at 6921 New Albany-Condit Road. This is the final scheduled controlled burn used for training exercises. During the burn, residents may see some smoke in the area. Firefighters will control the smoke and debris with hose streams. PTFD tells us that even after today's burn is finished, residents may still see smoke coming from the basement related to the smoldering. #newalbanyohio

Controlled burns are scheduled to continue this week along New Albany-Condit Road. Thanks to the property owner, the Plain Township Fire Department is using these sites for crucial training exercises that could save lives.

The next burn is set for 9 a.m. on July 16 at 6939 New Albany-Condit Road. Watch this video to see why training at these properties is so important for our firefighters!

Tuesday’s delivery is scheduled to depart at 9 a.m. and travel along the following route: SR 16 east to SR 310, SR 310 north to SR 161, SR 161 west to Mink Street, and Mink Street north to Clover Valley Road NW.
