This page contains legal public notices of public hearings as required by Ohio Revised Code §731.21, and New Albany City Code §1111.05, §1111.07, and §1113.05.  If you wish to speak at the public hearing, you must attend the meeting in person.  The meeting will be streamed for viewing purposes only via the City of New Albany.

The New Albany Architectural Review Board will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026 in the New Albany Village Hall on the following matters:

  • ARB-19-2026 New Albany Methodist Church Sign Certificate of Appropriateness and Waiver.  A request to allow for the installation of one multi-tenant dual-post sign at 85 East Main Street for the New Albany United Methodist Church and Northwest Eye Surgeons and one monument sign at 20 Third Street for the New Albany United Methodist Church with one waiver to allow a monument sign.
  • ARB-28-2026 Richmond Square Wall Certificate of Appropriateness.  A request to allow for the brick wall at the Richmond Square developments at 14-17 Richmond Sq.
  • ARB-30-2026 Church of the Resurrection Certificate of Appropriateness.  A request to allow for new parking lot lighting at 6300 E. Dublin-Granville Road.

The New Albany Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026 at the New Albany Village Hall on the following matters:

  • CU-26-2026 EdgeConneX Batch Plant Conditional Use.  A request for conditional use to operate an existing batch plant on 12+/- acres at 2675 Clover Valley Road.
  • FPL-28-2026 Hamlet Phase 3 Final Plat.  A request for approval of the final plat for Phase 3 of the Hamlet development project generally located at the southwest corner of the intersection of New Albany Condit Road and Central College Road.
  • FDP-31-2026 Donato’s Final Development Plan Extension.  A request for an extension of an approved final development plan for a proposed Donato’s restaurant on 1.228+/- acres generally located at the southwest intersection of Smith’s Mill Road and Beech Road.

The Rocky Fork – Blacklick Accord Implementation Panel will hold a public hearing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 21, 2026 in the New Albany Village Hall on the following City of Columbus rezoning application:

  • Z26-016 & CV26-042 (7665 Harlem Road).  A conceptual review of a City of Columbus application to request rezoning from R, Rural District to LAR, Limited Apartment Residential District for a multi-unit residential development of 192 units.
