All major construction on the State Route 605 project near the school campus is now complete! The roadway is fully striped and open in its final configuration. The project added a new drop-right turn lane from SR 605 into the New Albany-Plain Local Schools’ campus parking lot at Chatham Green Drive to enhance pedestrian safety and improve traffic flow.

While the main construction is finished, some additional work is still ongoing outside the roadway. This includes grading and paving the leisure trail, seeding, electrical work, and sidewalk installation. Once all necessary materials arrive, the signals will be modified, and any additional signage will be installed.

We anticipate that any remaining work will have minimal impact on traffic. As promised, the majority of the project will be completed before the start of the school year.
