2nd Annual New Albany Polar Plunge

Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge for Special Olympics

It’s that time of year again when the Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) for Special Olympics hosts Polar Plunge fundraisers across the state to support its mission of advancing global inclusion through sports, health education, and leadership programs that empower individuals with intellectual disabilities.

We invite you to join the New Albany Police Department in supporting New Albany Special Olympics at the 2nd Annual Polar Plunge, happening at New Albany High School’s Eagle Stadium on Saturday, February 1. Dress to impress and compete in the costume contest at 11 a.m., then gear up to slide into the inclusion as you take a trip down a 20-foot water slide into a pool of ice water—all for a great cause!

You can participate by clicking this link to donate and/or join the team. By joining the New Albany Special Olympics “Plunge My Way” team, 80% of the funds you raise will directly benefit New Albany Special Olympics.

ALL participants must register through the team link prior to January 29. Donations of any amount can be made through February 1.
