New Albany City Council Seeks Applicants for Board of Zoning Appeals

City Council has announced an opening on the Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA).

This board hears and decides appeals regarding legislation and administrative determinations related to zoning and land use, in addition to variances from zoning area regulations and general development standards. The BZA may also subpoena witnesses, administer oaths, and compel discovery as needed. The applicant must be a New Albany resident. The BZA currently meets on the 4th Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m., as needed. If you are already serving on a New Albany City board, you may also apply to for this open position.
