Nature Exploration Day at Taylor Farm Park - May 1

Celebrate Nature Exploration Day at Taylor Farm Park!

Wrap up the Earth Day to Arbor Day celebrations with Nature Exploration Day on Wednesday, May 1, from 6–7:30 p.m. at Taylor Farm Park! This free, family-friendly event is the perfect way to bridge Earth Day and Arbor Day with fun, hands-on learning for all ages.

Enjoy an evening outdoors meeting adorable farm animals at the Horse-N-Round Fun petting zoo, planting seeds in the Community Garden with Healthy New Albany, and exploring Ohio’s native plants with Keystone Landscapes. Kids can take on a fun scavenger hunt with prizes while families learn together at interactive stations hosted by COSI, New Albany-Plain Local Schools, and the City of New Albany.

Whether you’re looking to get your hands dirty in the garden or discover more about local ecosystems, Nature Exploration Day is a great way to connect with the environment and each other.

Due to limited parking at Taylor Farm Park, we kindly encourage guests to walk, bike, or carpool when possible.

We hope to see you there—let’s explore nature together!
