Pharmavite’s Initial Phase of Central Ohio Growth Expands Production of Nature Made Vitamin Gummies and Enhances Product Research & Development with Pharmavite’s Gummies Innovation Center of Excellence
Pharmavite LLC, a nutrition-powered wellness company and makers of Nature Made vitamins, celebrated the grand opening of its new manufacturing and research & development facility in New Albany with a ribbon-cutting event on May 8, 2025. The new 225,000 square-foot facility is a $250 million investment – and Pharmavite’s first in the region – creating 225 jobs with potential for further expansion on the property.
“Throughout our more than 50-year history, Pharmavite has established its position as the industry leader in producing high-quality vitamins and supplements here in the United States, and this new facility enables us to meet the growing demand for Nature Made vitamins and support consumers across the country on their health and wellness journeys,” said Pharmavite CEO Jeff Boutelle. “We chose New Albany for this significant investment after an extensive search and we’re proud to be a part of the emerging science, innovation, and technology hub in Central Ohio, and honored to be welcomed into the wellness-focused community.”
Pharmavite’s new facility is already producing products ready for sale and is positioned to meet continued consumer demand for vitamin gummies, the top vitamin and supplement form that’s nearly doubled in size since 20191. Nature Made was the #1-dollar growth brand across vitamin gummies in 20241 and this facility expands production to make Nature Made even more accessible for consumers, while strengthening research and innovation capabilities through Pharmavite’s Gummies Innovation Center of Excellence to position the brand for further leadership within the category.
