New Albany Founder’s Day Parade & Festival

August 28 @ 10:30 am - 5:00 pm

The annual Founders Day Celebration was started by the New Albany Historical Society in 1976 as part of the nation’s bicentennial celebration. The event has continued on in celebration of the founding fathers development of the area now known as Plain Township and the City of New Albany and is funded by donations from the community. About 7,000 people are welcomed each year to Founders Day and we’re very excited to hold the event this year at Rose Run Park.
