New Albany Police are currently investigating a theft. Home surveillance (shown in video below) from a November 27 incident reveals a suspect taking packages from a porch on Straits Lane. If you have any information that could assist police in identifying the suspect, contact NAPD at 614-855-1234.

Police offer the following tips to protect your property:

• Alert any suspicious activity to NAPD, such as people following delivery trucks.
• Try to collect packages as soon as they are delivered.
• Leave instructions for packages to be left in the backyard or in a concealed location.
• Have a neighbor put the package in a concealed location if you are unable to request it with the delivery company.
