Santa called New Albany staff earlier this week, saying he wanted to come to town to check up on all the kids to make sure they have been good. As a result, Plain Township Fire and the New Albany Police and Public Service departments will provide a 5-10 vehicle escort through various New Albany and Plain Township neighborhoods on Sunday, December 20. The mini-parade will begin at 1 pm and the route will be very similar to the July 4th neighborhood parade earlier this year.
Track the City of New Albany’s Twitter page Sunday afternoon for periodic updates about where Santa is along the mini-parade route. Parents and kids are invited to come out to see Santa along the route in a socially responsible manner as he passes through town to share joy with the New Albany community!
