Municipal Income Tax Returns Due May 17

The new filing deadline for municipal income tax returns this year is May 17. With your health and safety in mind, the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA) again is offering four contact-free ways to easily file your municipal taxes. Click here for more information.

File Online

Individuals who are ready to file a municipal income tax return in one online session can file using FastFile. No login, User ID or Password is necessary; however, you must be ready to complete your return in one session. All other individual income tax returns, and exemptions, (with the exception of Amended returns, which must be filed By Mail or In Person) may be filed at MyAccount. File by Mail

Drop Boxes

RITA’s physical doors are staying closed to the public for now, however they have drop box locations. For those who prefer to personally bring their returns or tax documents please use RITA’s Drop-Off Options. Even if unfinished, they will complete your returns for you. Please fill out the Municipal Income Tax Drop-Off Sheet to accompany your tax documents or at least include your phone number on your dropped – off documents, even if you write it on the envelope.
