In a continued effort to offer residents expanded access to city information, the City of New Albany is now among the first communities in Ohio to create voice activated FAQs by rolling out new Q&A skills accessible through both Amazon Echo and Google Home.

The new Amazon and Google skills provide the ability to voice search for information currently available on the City of New Albany website, offering answers to a range of frequently asked questions about city services, departments, contact numbers and events. 

To activate the skill, users simply need to tell their respective device, “Alexa, ask New Albany, Ohio…” or “Hey Google, ask New Albany, Ohio…” and follow with their query.
