After receiving multiple complaints of students parking in the Market Square parking lots during school hours, New Albany Police will begin enforcing the “Customer and Employee Parking Only” restriction in those lots beginning March 6, 2023. The Public Service Department has placed a message board in the lot near Raines Crossing to warn students of the restricted parking. A New Albany Police Officer will be present at Raines Crossing every morning starting February 22 to verbally warn students who park there. As a reminder, students can use the public parking available on Swickard Woods Blvd. (near the high school baseball field) and on Kardules Fields Way. Maps of those locations can be seen below.
