Registration Open for NAPD Women's Self-Defense Course

Join New Albany Police for the next women’s self-defense course. The five-part course, led by NAPD Officer Leland Kelly, Officer Emilee Downing, and Probation Officer Amy Boyd, is divided into 2-hour classes. Topics include home safety, travel safety, situational awareness, and physical defense. Classes will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on October 21, 22, 23, 28 and 29 at the New Albany Police Department. This R.A.D. course is open to women ages 13 and over who live, work or attend school in New Albany.

This course tends to fill quickly and operates on a first-come, first served basis. Please email edowning@newalbanypolice.org to register today!
