New Albany to Host Annual Touch-a-Truck and Food Drive!

Get ready, New Albany! The highly anticipated annual Touch-a-Truck event is back, presented by New Albany Public Service. This year, we’re not only bringing you an exciting opportunity to explore incredible vehicles but also again combining it with a vital food drive to support our community.

When and Where?

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 23rd, at the public service complex located at 7800 Bevelhymer Rd.

Event Schedule:

  • Sensory-Friendly Hour: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (A dedicated time for our friends with sensory sensitivities to enjoy the experience in a calm environment.)
  • General Public Hours: 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

What to Expect:

Rain or shine, this popular event gives kids (and adults!) the thrilling chance to get an up-close look at a variety of city vehicles, including impressive excavators, powerful rollers, and more! It’s a fantastic opportunity to interact with our dedicated police officers, firefighters, and public service crews, learning about the essential work they do for our city.
