New Albany Again Named Tree City USA

We’re proud to share that New Albany has once again been named a Tree City USA, and this year is extra special as the program celebrates its 50th anniversary!

Our commitment to a healthy, thriving urban forest continues to grow. As part of the Market Street Extension project, the City will be planting 296 trees, 351 shrubs, 4,456 vines, and 906 perennial flowers. We are also planning to plant an additional 362 trees as part of the Rose Run II project.

Thank you to everyone who helps make New Albany a greener, more beautiful place to live.
