This page contains legal public notices of public hearings as required by Ohio Revised Code §731.21, and New Albany City Code §1111.05, §1111.07, and §1113.05.  If you wish to speak at the public hearing, you must attend the meeting in person.  The meeting will be streamed for viewing purposes only via the City of New Albany.

Current Public Notices

The New Albany Police Department will be disposing of the following unclaimed property: cellphones, keys, wallets, purses, electronics, clothing, tools, knives, credit cards, ID cards, documents, and other personal effects.  Property with an identified owner will be returned until March 30th, 2026, after which all unclaimed property will be auctioned or destroyed.  Owners may contact the police department at 614-855-1234.  


The New Albany Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in the New Albany Village Hall on the following matters:

  • FDP-88-2025 Food Pantry Final Development Plan.  A request for a final development plan for a new Healthy New Albany food pantry on a portion of 10.99+/- acres of land at 5220 Johnstown Road.
  • ZC-09-2026 Clover Valley East Zoning District Rezoning.  A request to rezone 22 parcels of land, 106.4+/- acres, generally located northeast of an adjacent to the intersection of Jug Street Road and Clover Valley Road from Agricultural District (AG) to Limited General Employment (L-GE) with a limitation text to be known as the “Clover Valley East Zoning District” 

The Rocky Fork – Blacklick Accord Implementation Panel will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. in the New Albany Village Hall to consider the following matter:

  • ZC-05-2026 Community Facilities Rezoning.  A New Albany application to rezone 69.654 +/- acres from Agricultural to Community Facilities to allow for a new police training facility, service facility, and park restroom facility.

 

The New Albany Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on Monday, March 23, 2026 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the New Albany Village Hall on the following matter:

  • VAR-12-2026 Recreational Amenity Variance.  A request for a variance to C.O. 1165.04(b)(3)(a) to allow a recreational amenity to remain within the front yard at 6528 Cedar Brook Drive.
