Open Positions on the IDEA Implementation Panel
City Council has announced three (3) open positions on the Inclusion Diversity Equity & Accessibility (IDEA) Implementation Panel. Panel members assist the City of New Albany in its efforts to make the city a welcoming and supportive environment for all. IDEA programs have included the NA 101 series, Juneteenth, Diwali, EmpowHer, and, soon, the Community Connectors Program. The applicant must be a New Albany resident. The IDEA Implementation Panel meets once per month (second Thursdays) as needed.

Open Position on the New Albany Community Improvement Corporation
City Council has announced an opening on the Community Improvement Corporation (CIC). The CIC, established under the Ohio Revised Code, works at the direction of city council to advance, encourage and promote commercial growth and civic development, and economic sustainability through entrepreneurial support, connectivity, and technological advancement to enhance the lives of residents, businesses, and corporate citizens. Current CIC initiatives include Innovate New Albany and a city-wide broadband study. The CIC meets during working hours on weekdays. Meetings are scheduled on an as-needed basis; the current meeting cadence is approximately once per month.
If you are already serving on a New Albany city board, you may also apply to for this open position. Experience in business or economic development is preferred. Appointments to the CIC last one year and are renewable by vote at the CIC’s annual meeting every January.
