Chip and his wife Teresa are proud New Albany residents. He has lived in New Albany since 2001 and he has two daughters, Maddie and Anna. Chip has been a City Council member since 2006. During his tenure, he has served as Council Liaison to the New Albany Plain Local School District, Board of Zoning Appeals, Charter Review Commission, and chaired the Administration Standing Committee. He is the Council Liaison to the Parks and Trails Advisory Board and a member of the Hotel/Motel Bed Tax Grant Committee. Prior to his service on council, he was a member of the New Albany Community Events Board and Architectural Review Board.

Chip enjoys staying active in the community. He served as chair of his HOA and participated in coaching youth sports. He is currently employed as a corporate account executive in the healthcare field. He’s a lifelong Ohio resident and a proud graduate of The Ohio State University. As a council member, Chip’s primary focus is to continue the city’s disciplined and well-planned approach to economic development at the New Albany International Business Park and to bring in new businesses and amenities to the Village Center. Chip is steadfast on maintaining fiscal responsibility, providing quality and responsive public service, maintaining safe neighborhoods with available parks, and providing open and responsive communications with city residents.
