The official zoning map is a document maintained by the Community Development Department that identifies the zoning regulations for all areas within the jurisdiction of New Albany. Every parcel of land within New Albany, including parkland, has a zoning designation. These designations in the official zoning map are known as zoning districts. The following Design Guidelines and Requirements (DGRs) provide a framework for design in a clear, easy to use format. The DGRs apply to the entire community and are organized by area and type of use. Section 1 – American Architectural Precedent applies to all areas and uses.
