What an unforgettable Independence Day Parade! Filled with patriotic performances, larger-than-life entertainment, and festive surprises, our parade was the biggest and best yet! This year’s celebration featured special appearances from iconic characters, incredible live acts, and dazzling displays of red, white, and blue.

Main Attractions

  • Special guests: Uncle Sam and his flock of eagles

  • Live performances: bagpipers and interactive entertainers

  • Amazing Giants entertainment, featuring: stilt walkers, a patriotic juggler, a patriotic penny-farthing cyclist, a bald eagle roller skater, Lollipop Lyra aerialist

Accommodation Station

The City of New Albany is proud to have an Accommodation Station at the end of the Independence Day Parade route. Located near accessible parking, this area is designed to be more sensory-friendly so that all families can enjoy the parade. Parade participants are required to adjust their performances when passing through this zone by lowering volume, avoiding flashing lights or sudden noises, and not throwing items from floats. The Accommodation Station is a work in progress, and we will update this page with more information as we receive it.

For a parking pass in the Inclusivity Zone or for more information, please email communityevents@newalbanyohio.org to set up your accommodation.
