City Council has announced an opening on the Rocky Fork Blacklick Accord Implementation Panel (RFBA). This board is comprised of 3 representatives each from the City of New Albany, Plain Township, and the City of Columbus. The open position is for a New Albany resident. The panel evaluates applications for rezoning to make recommendations to the planning body of the impacted jurisdiction. Each member may server no longer than 12 years (4 full terms). The panel meets once per month on third Thursdays at 4 p.m. at Village Hall, as needed.

City Council has announced an opening on the Sustainability Advisory Board (SAB). This board advises council on matters relating to sustainability, promotes sustainability principles broadly among the community and stakeholders, and assists in efforts to make City operations more sustainable. The applicant must be a New Albany resident. Interest and/or experience in sustainability industries, environmental programs, energy conservation, and/or passion for sustainability are a plus. The SAB meets once per month, currently second Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.
