Open Position on the New Albany East Community Authority

City Council has announced an opening on the New Albany East Community Authority (NAECA) Board of Trustees. The Community Authority collects a New Community Authority (NCA) economic development charge assessed to various projects developed in defined areas of the New Albany International Business Park. The NAECA board annually sets the NCA charge, reviews plans and updates related to qualifying infrastructure projects, and verifies funding availability. The applicant must be a New Albany resident. A background in law, finance, city planning, and/or economic development is preferred. The NAECA meets as needed, approximately twice per year.
