New Albany-area residents can turn in pill and capsule medications at the Plain Township Fire Station (9500 Johnstown Road) on Saturday, October 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Only pills and capsules will be collected; liquid medications and syringes cannot be turned in. The collected drugs will be incinerated according to federal and state environmental guidelines.
