Application Deadline Extended for IDEA Implementation Panel Opening

New Albany City Council is seeking residents who are interested in serving their community through openings on our boards and commissions. These opportunities allow residents to lend their perspective, expertise, and passion to important work that supports preservation, inclusion, and responsible growth across our city.

City Council has extended the opening for the IDEA Implementation Panel. Deadline to apply is Friday, February 27, 2026.

If you are already serving on a New Albany city board, you may also apply to for this open position.

About the Open Position on the IDEA Implementation Panel 

City Council has announced an opening on the Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Equality & Accessibility (IDEA) Implementation Panel. Panel members assist the City of New Albany in its efforts to make the city a welcoming and supportive environment for all. IDEA programs have included the NA 101 series, Juneteenth, Diwali, EmpowHER, Accessibility in New Albany Listening Session, and the Community Connectors Program.  The IDEA Implementation Panel meets once per month (second Thursdays) as needed.
