April 25: Prescription Drug Take Back Day

Help save a life by turning in your unused and undesired pill medications. New Albany-area residents can turn in undesired pill and capsule medications at the Plain Township Fire Station (9500 Johnstown Road) on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Only pills and capsules will be collected; liquid medications and syringes cannot be turned in. The collected drugs will be incinerated according to federal and state environmental guidelines. Safely dispose of unused medications and help protect our waterways and environment.
