Beginning the week of May 18, crews will begin the final repaving of Main Street/US 62, from the Market Street (formerly Third Street) intersection to Chappell Drive. Work will include milling, paving, and permanent striping, and is expected to take 3–5 days, weather permitting. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times via flagger operation; minor delays are possible. Parking will not be permitted on Main Street during this time. We anticipate this to be the last major traffic impact for the Market Street project. Crews will remain on-site through the end of May to complete landscaping and tree plantings.
