The New Albany City Council Community Grants Subcommittee is now accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2027 community grants. Applications must be submitted by Friday, July 31.Â
Funded through hotel/motel bed tax revenues, these grants serve as an investment in the community by improving quality of life for our residents and enhancing the visitor experience. Applicants can review the full grant eligibility criteria here.
Organizations seeking funding from the City’s Community Grants Subcommittee must (1) complete a grant application, and (2) submit a past and proposed budget using the budget worksheet.

Grants supporting arts and culture programs will now be administered by the New Albany Community Foundation rather than the City of New Albany. Organizations seeking arts and culture funding should review the Foundation’s grant criteria and application information here. Â
The New Albany Community Foundation awards grants twice annually, in April and October. Application deadlines for each funding cycle are March 15 at 5 p.m. and September 15 at 5 p.m.
