Kitzmiller Wetland Park is the third destination park in our long-term plans. The park will be built on land that was acquired more than a decade ago between Kitzmiller Road and US 62.

The park is still in the planning stages, which means we have the opportunity to create it in a way that best fits New Albany’s long-term needs.

The City held a public open house on May 11, 2026, to receive community input in addition to providing an online survey. Stay tuned for the project’s next steps.
