New Albany's Oktoberfest

A Day of Gemütlichkeit at Rose Run!

Get ready for a jam-packed day of fun, food, and German spirit right here in New Albany! This year, we’re bringing all the festivities to a new location at Rose Run, ensuring a lively and memorable experience for everyone. Join us for a celebration of gemütlichkeit (a feeling of warmth, friendliness, and good cheer) that’s perfect for the whole family.

Activities for All Ages

Join us for this family-friendly event!

You’ll find a fantastic lineup of entertainment, including traditional German tunes from the Route 161 Happy Wanderers, performances by Joey & Jessica, and beats spun by DJ Tommy Nutter. Be sure to stay tuned for the exciting announcement of our closing band!

For the adults, there’s plenty to enjoy, from catching all the action of live OSU and Crew games on our giant screen to testing your strength in the traditional Masskrugstemmen (Steinholding Competition). You can also show off your vocal talents in the yodeling competition or marvel at the artistry of SculptDecor’s woodcarving demonstration.

Kids Activities

There's fun for the whole family!

Kids will have a blast with a variety of engaging activities. They can get up close with friendly farm animals and learn how to make fresh apple cider at the Bring the Farm to You petting zoo and apple cidering station. A full-size carousel will provide classic fun, while face painters and balloon twisters will add a touch of magic. Creative youngsters can decorate their own “gingerbread heart” at the Lebkuchenherzen craft station (using cardboard to avoid allergens), and everyone can enjoy the Stanley Holding Competition, a fun, kid-friendly version of the steinholding challenge!

Calling All Vendors!

Calling all German-specific vendors (goods and food) and food vendors of all kinds! We’re looking for enthusiastic participants to bring the spirit of Oktoberfest to life. Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your offerings at our festive celebration!
