Quiet Oktoberfest

Das Stille Oktoberfest

Traditionally“Quiet Oktoberfest” keeps the vibe chill with folk tunes and capped sound levels, perfect for families to enjoy entertainment and festivities at reduced sound levels.

Our “Quiet Oktoberfest” hour begins at 1:30 p.m. and features sensory-friendly adjustments:

  • The carousel will be stationary, allowing kids to explore the horses without the motion.

  • Log sawing will be paused.

  • Stage volume will be lowered.

At 2:30 p.m., the volume will increase and all festivities will return to normal.

Kids Activities

There's fun for the whole family!

Kids will have a blast with a variety of engaging activities. They can get up close with friendly farm animals and learn how to make fresh apple cider at the Bring the Farm to You petting zoo and apple cidering station. A full-size carousel will provide classic fun, while face painters and balloon twisters will add a touch of magic. Creative youngsters can decorate their own “gingerbread heart” at the Lebkuchenherzen craft station (using cardboard to avoid allergens), and everyone can enjoy the Stanley Holding Competition, a fun, kid-friendly version of the steinholding challenge!
