Cops and Bobbers

Cast a line and make a few memories at the fourth annual Cops & Bobbers! Join the New Albany Police Department this Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Bevelhymer Park pond for a morning of fishing, friendly competition, and family fun. Kids ages 5-16 can fish alongside New Albany officers and compete for prizes in two age groups Minnows (ages 5-10) and Masters (ages 11-16) with awards for the largest and smallest catch by length. One lucky angler will also earn the coveted Angler of the Day title for catching the most fish measuring more than six inches long. Participants can enjoy free grilled hot dogs, bottled water, limited bait while supplies last, the Child ID Booth, and a visit from the police drone team. Bring your fishing gear and get ready for a morning of fun.
