The City of New Albany’s Summer Concert Series at the Hinson Amphitheater offers five free community concerts featuring a diverse mix of musical genres and high-energy performances. Held on select Thursday evenings from 7–8:30 p.m., this beloved summer tradition draws families, music lovers, and neighbors together to enjoy live entertainment in a vibrant outdoor setting.

Make plans to join us at the Hinson Amphitheater on Saturday, November 7, for our 2026 Diwali Celebration! This “Festival of Lights” symbolizes the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, and good over evil. The free event is open to the entire community and will include music, dancing, food, and fireworks! This event is an IDEA Implementation Panel Initiative.
The City of New Albany’s Oktoberfest returns on Saturday, October 3 at Rose Run Park, offering a lively afternoon celebration in the heart of town. This City-hosted event brings the spirit of gemütlichkeit to life with traditional polka music, local food vendors, and a featured Masskrugstemmen (steinholding) competition. With beer, community spirit, and fall festivities, it’s a unique opportunity to connect with residents in a relaxed and engaging outdoor setting.
The Veterans Day Breakfast is a meaningful occasion to honor and celebrate the service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes with guest speaker, Dr. Tyshawn Jenkins from the Wounded Warrior Project.
