Want to hold a special event in New Albany? Individuals or organizations desiring to hold an event on public property, or planning to include a public invitation to an event on private property within New Albany corporate limits, must submit an Event Permit Application at least 60 days prior to the event. Once this application is submitted, the event organizer will meet with the Event Logistics Committee comprised of staff from City departments critical to successful event logistics to discuss the event further.
(Note: The City has reached it’s capacity to safely and successfully facilitate special events for 2024. Applications for special events are not being accepted at this time. Please check back on this site for when applications can be received for events in 2025.)
Healthy New Albany offers a wide variety of classes, community programs, and events – all about enjoying life while improving health! Their programs are open to everyone (no residency or membership restrictions).
Senior Connections is a membership-based group that works to enhance wellness and provide social opportunities for the 55+ population in New Albany and surrounding areas by providing a variety of programs, activities, and opportunities that focus on social, physical, and mental well-being.
Yumbambe’s lush sounds of jazz harmony paired with the vibrant rhythms of Afro-Cuban drumming make this Latin Jazz band one of the hottest acts in town! The band includes some of Columbus’ most prominent Jazz musicians, male and female vocals, and an eclectic mix of authentic percussion instruments. Tortilla and ChoriVan food trucks will be at this concert selling delicious Mexican and Argentinian dishes. Gates open at 5 p.m.
In collaboration with the New Albany Dance Festival, we invite everyone to get on their feet and “Just Dance” from 7 to 9 p.m.! The evening begins with line dance lessons from 7 to 7:30 p.m. and then the dance party begins. Our two DJs will play hits from around the world and across the decades as we get “Footloose” in New Albany! Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Journey with Epic Eagles through all the Eagles’ signature sounds, and the timeless music of Don Henley with hits like Hotel California, Desperado and The Boys of Summer. With their high-energy shows, Epic Eagles has earned its place as the finest Eagles tribute show in production today. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Parrots of the Caribbean energizes audiences with a blend of Zydeco, Rock & Country and Jimmy Buffett’s biggest songs. Called the “#1 Jimmy Buffett Tribute Act in the Country,” POTC has delighted audiences throughout the U.S. & Canada for over two decades! Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
