New Albany 101: “Appy” Hour

New Albany is known for its beautiful neighborhoods, charming Market Square and world-renowned business park but do you know how we grew from a small farming village to the thriving community we are today? Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of some of New Albany’s most iconic places to learn the who, what, when, where and why from the city staff, city councilmembers and city board and commission members who shape our community. New Albany 101 is an IDEA Implementation Panel initiative created with the goal of making local government accessible to all of New Albany’s residents. Information about how to join our boards, commissions and panels, and engage with local leaders will be available at all New Albany 101 events.
The Heit Center opened its doors in 2016 and has become a hub for one of the City’s pillars wellness. Join us for a tour of the building, heavy appetizers, and the opportunity to talk with city leadership.
