Classroom to Careers Employer Info Session

New Albany area businesses are invited to an information session designed to connect employers with the next generation of talent. Presented by New Albany-Plain Local Schools in partnership with the New Albany Chamber of Commerce, this session is November 5, 2025, 3:30pm – 4:45pm in the Jefferson Room at NAPLS.

Employers will be introduced to innovative programs that prepare students with the skills, experiences, and credentials needed to succeed in today’s workforce. Learn how your company can engage with students through internships, pre-apprenticeships, mentoring, and more while building your future talent pipeline.

Whether you’re looking to learn more about reaching high school students that may not be on a path to college, or build community relationships, this event offers practical ways for your company to get involved with the school.

Businesses will learn other ways to engage with students including classroom speaking, job shadowing, mock interviews, sponsoring student projects, sponsorship opportunities, and naming rights. Employers will leave with a clear understanding of programs available to students; ways to partner with the school district; and how these partnerships can benefit their business and the community workforce.
