E-Waste, Household Hazardous Waste & Paper Shredding Event Scheduled for October 10

Clear out the clutter and dispose of unwanted items safely! Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Water’s Edge complex (7795 Walton Pkwy) for our e-waste, hazardous waste collection, paper shredding, textile collection, and Joseph’s Closet donation event. New Albany residents are encouraged to bring old electronics, household hazardous waste, confidential documents for secure on-site shredding (space is limited so first-come, first-served), and old and stained clothing. 

What is allowed? 

  • Sensitive paper materials (bank statements, insurance statements, checks, etc.). Paper materials that do not contain sensitive information can be recycled with your residential recycling services (vendor dependent). Paper should be loose; no binders will be accepted. 
  • Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) materials. Learn about accepted materials by clicking here.

  • Old, stained and otherwise unable to donate clothes.  

Special Note: 

  • No drugs will be accepted at this event. Please take any drugs to the New Albany Police Department lobby: 50 Village Hall Rd, New Albany, OH 43054. 
  • Joseph’s Coat will be taking names and contact information from people who would like to donate furniture. Please do NOT bring furniture to the event. If you cannot make the event but have a donation for Jospeh’s Coat visit their website by clicking this link.
  • To help manage volume, we are unable to accept commercial quantities or bulk collections.

How do I enter the facility? 

All vehicles will enter at the 7795 Walton Parkway entrance. After you enter the site, there will be signs and staff directing traffic to the appropriate lanes based on the materials residents have to drop off. Please see the map below.
