Public Service Tour

Join us on April 23 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the New Albany public service complex for a behind-the-scenes tour of the department that makes New Albany better for both residents and visitors every day of the year. New Albany’s public service crews take care of everything from street trees to snow removal, and traffic lights to sanitary sewers. Help save a life by turning in your unused and undesired pill medications. New Albany-area residents can turn in undesired pill and capsule medications at the Plain Township Fire Station (9500 Johnstown Road) on Saturday, April 27, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Only pills and capsules will be collected; liquid medications and syringes cannot be turned in. The collected drugs will be incinerated according to federal and state environmental guidelines. Let's dispose responsibly.
