Taylor Farm Park Awarded OCMA Placemaking Award

We’re excited to share that Taylor Farm Park has won the OCMA Placemaking Award at the 2025 Ohio City & County Management Association (OCMA) Annual Conference. This honor not only recognizes the park’s role in bringing the community together and preserving nature.

Spanning 100 acres, Taylor Farm Park offers a mix of recreation, conservation, and education. The $10.7 million project was funded through a partnership between the New Albany Company, the City of New Albany, and Clean Ohio Grants. As a result, it features forested wetlands, restored green spaces, and scenic trails, giving visitors a chance to enjoy nature up close.

This award highlights Taylor Farm Park’s success in creating an inviting and sustainable space. With walking trails, boardwalks, and wetlands, it encourages outdoor activity while protecting the environment.

In addition to this recognition, New Albany also received the OCMA Intergovernmental Cooperation Award for its joint Mayor’s Court with Gahanna. This partnership improves efficiency, reduces costs, and serves as a model for other cities.

Winning two OCMA awards shows New Albany’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and strong community partnerships. Taylor Farm Park continues to bring people together while preserving natural spaces for future generations.
